At Newtownhamilton Primary School, we are proud to support and celebrate the musical talents of our pupils.

Many of our students take weekly piano lessons with Miss Charlotte Adair, and it’s a joy to witness their progress. Their performances during special assemblies, such as Christmas and Easter, are always a highlight.

We also welcome the EA Music Service into school each week to provide brass tuition, further enriching our musical offerings.

In addition, we are thrilled to offer bagpipe and chanter lessons with Mr. Ian Burrows, delivered through the Ulster-Scots Agency. These sessions bring plenty of energy, fun, and of course—sound!

Throughout the year, pupils from Primary 4 to Primary 7 have enjoyed a wide range of Ulster-Scots music lessons, including Lambeg Drums, Accordion, Fife, and Snare Drum, to name just a few.

Our school choir is another source of pride, regularly performing at special assemblies, community events, and school concerts with great enthusiasm.
